Taken during a recent fine yet blustery evening. Managed to stay dry - just. Slowish shutter speed used to blur the waves crashing to give a sense of movement. How do you like it?

Very good, unusual angle but effective.
Excellent work, nice image.
I like the way you've blurred the waves. Did you also take one with a faster shutter speed?
Beautiful colours and great composition. The exposure is just right - you can really feel the power of the wave.
stunning image, excellent exposure, composition and colour balance
This works a treat, fabulously captured colours and spray, beautiful shot
Works really well, original angle, can't wait to visit the sea side to try my hand at a similar shot
Wonderful shot. Den
Thanks for all your comments.
Mike: This was the effect I was trying to capture and didn't really have time to shoot one at a faster speed. I take your point though, I would agree that one with all the spray frozen may have looked better.
Excellent shutter speed and judgement of shutter release, great shot.
Excellent shot! Did your camera stay dry?
Only just, Jim. It also nearly went for a soak when I was trying to clamber back across the rocks to the safety of the shore.
THis is amazing, specially the bigger image!!
Very good idea!
Very well captured, Tony. Click
Clever stuff, looks lovely.
Beautiful! Glad you managed to stay dry. Well done.
