Taken last weekend, I converted it to B&W, andjusted levels & duotoned it in PSCS.

Although I like the image and it is what I wanted, I still don't know if I have over done it on the contrast front.

Appreciate any comments.

Thank you very much for your prompt comments. Its a fine line with digital imaging between a good shot and overdone manipulation/adjustment. Still a bit of a virgin to this Photoshop lark so, feedback is really appreciated. Thanks again.

I like the contrasty feel. It emphasises the drama of the shot.

Fantastic. Love the line you created with rocks and waves and the composition is excellent. Main subject is centered but this works well here.

Lovely composition and movement in the waves. The use of a wide-angle lens adds to the drama. I think the contrast is a bit high, especially in the upper half of the picture. Still merits a click though.
John

Excelent, the BW really emphesises the look and feel of the water, against the rocks.

The tide almost seems to drag you to the light house... Where is it?

Click great shot.

Fantastic shot. I've taken a couple of shots of Mumbles lighthouse but I thought they were a bit dull. After looking at this I now think my shots were really dull!

I do like the composure and especially the shutter speed choosen and don't mind the contrast which would probably look a lot better on paper than on screen.

Good stuff.I can here the ocean now.

While the focal point is ultimately the lighthouse, the eye-catching foreground is a good lead-in to the photo.

Tony

Excellent shot this Tony, the movement in the foreground water is very well captured and the composition is spot on.
Thanks for the comments you left in my portfolio, much appreciated.

I'm very fond of a lot of contrast in B and W so it very much appeals to me in terms of composition and tone.

Superb.

Too Contrasty? Possibly, but I still like the effect, and would not advise you to change it. world love to see this as a print.
