Taken on an evening that promised so much yet, when it came to the event of the sunset, it was alot less dramatic. Any comments appreciated.

Sunsets dont always have to be dramatic to be nice, as far as Im concerned. Sunset skies at the moment seem very soft, but that can be beautiful as well, as is this one. Well done.

Lovely shot, and the slow shutter gives a dream like quality to the water.

I actually like the muted light on this - lots of interest in the foreground rocks. Maybe not a spectacular sunset, but it has a mood of its own.

I really think you are on to something there... almost got it. Keep it up. Maybe use a slower shutter speed to blur the tide a little.

Another great coastal shot. Composition and colours are spot on, not over the top or artifical. Image has a good tranquil mood about it. Like it.

cheers

p.s. RE Vuescan, I find sometimes it produces a better scan than the Epson software with my 4870 scanner. Other times the Epson seems to do the best job. I think you can download a trial version with limited features, worth a try if you think your scans are lacking something, otherwise it isn't worth the trouble.

p.p.s. where is this shot taken?
