I spent one to two weeks stalking this resident heron, earning its trust which allowed me to get closer and closer to this shy animal. One sunny and magical morning, I brought my 20D with 75-300 to capture the grace and beauty of this amazing creature in the sublime morning sun.
loljk, I was in Florida. I walked up to this heron, took a few pictures, and walked away.
I'll be posting some more natural history on here and my blog (link on profile), seeing as wildlife is literally everywhere in Florida.
