Took this while at the park with my son. Was a quick shot and really windy so the bush kept moving. I thought was still nice ![]()

Good capture of bee and flower. Sharp and well focused with a nice out of focus background. The main point I would like to make is the on its side composition. Although the flower was sideways on I reckon (just my view) the the 90 deg shift in my mod improves the image.

Thanks very much for the feedback and the modification. Im so please that your advise was to rotate, as soon as i had uploaded i wish i had of tried this so you reasured me i should have. I think the mod looks 100 percent better.
Ill make sure to try this next time.
Thanks
Billy
Not a bee, a Hoverfly. One of dozens of varieties. Decent effort with a kit lens but, ideally, you need to be rather closer and the images needs to be a lot sharper. Close up is not easy, particularly of small insects and really needs quite specialist gear. As said, you have not done too bad.
