Dean, great natural photograph, IMHO the composition works. I like to see photos of birds in there naturals surroundings. Good on you for going with it
A really terrific capture ,well done.
I think the comp is spot on ....
Beautiful bird, branch and toned b/g. A superb capture.........Sandy
A very good bird shot and superb composition.
Dont need to change a thing, brilliant shot,
Composition is just excellent and I too would not change a thing: superb bit of work, Dean (as we have come to expect)
Excellent image and comp high standard as allways.
Composition is excellent and I'm not sure how you could crop it any other way. Superb as always.
Beautiful image but certainly doesn't to be cropped any further, in fact, I'd like to see a little more space at the bottom of the composition to balance the space above the birds head.
Beautiful image Dean - this would look lovely framed.
Wonderful! I love the branch the beautiful bird is perched on, as well as the gorgeous bird, Patti
Fine image with habitat. A
Perfect in every way mate, still when you get to your age we expect it
Splendid shot and composition just as it is. Carole
Mike has a good point...a drop more room at the very bottom of the frame wouldn't go amiss, that leaf is so very close to the edge.
I like the inclusion of the foliage,it works for me.
Just superb !.....gorgeous quality shot, with a lovely pictorial feel.....1st class !!!!!
fantastic detail dean a stunning capture very very nice one mate
This is a good example of a situation where the rule of thirds should be avoided. I would however add that small amount to the bottom.
Works for me Dean
Beautiful natural capture.
Works for me Dean - lovely image.
Fabulous mate.....love it!
Hi Dean PERFECT in my opinion, gray.
I would have said crop the bottom but its personal choice and I see most are saying leave it in including a member of the critique team - trouble is viewing large on my screen I have to scroll up and down to get the full picture but since viewing small - YES I can appreciate its good as is
Superb and stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great composition Dean and I wouldn't change it at all but at the end of the day its personal choice.
My only critique is I think the lighting on the eye looks a little false, it has the appearance of a "glass eye" to me as if it has been lightened and sharpened a little too much
Perhaps just a touch more space at the bottom so that the leaf is not quite so close to the edge of the frame - but a very minor niggle in a photograph with such beautiful colours and tones.
Outstanding, natural shot, Dean. Perfect exposure for colour & detail within an ideal composition.
