A stunning inflight capture Kaz, you've timed this one to perfection
Excellent in-flight shot, the head and body beautifully detailed, the wings captured at the very best flight position and with just a tiny amount of blur towards the leading edge.
Your technique for in-flight shots has been honed to perfection, Karen.

We are envious in Canada of your glorious little kingfisher. Beautiful style and detail. What makes them so cooperative? Ours prefer to exit, stage left....Just kidding.
