i traveled the banks of the Columbia quite extensively in my film photography days, - from Portland to its headwaters, the Columbia Lakes in BC Canada and lived in Revelstoke/BC. Dispite human intervention, like hydro dams etc, it's worth visiting! It flows through some of the most beautiful country in North America - Thanks !! - WinFred
