Just had a 3 day trip to Glencoe, this was the highlight of 2 mornings totaling about 6 hours stood by THAT waterfall waiting patiently for the rain to ease and the clouds to part!!

Hmmm... now THAT place looks familiar!!! I must admit to having climbed down to that spot on more than one occasion myself!!! ![]()
Might be a popular spot, but you have done it justice with this wonderful shot.
I would however suggest trying to bring out the detail a little more in the dark foreground areas, to give it a lift.

Deff V3 for me mate.
Think I would clone out all the burnt out rock though. See, it is a classic because it is beautiful, but, it is also because it is not easy to get the exposure right!!!
Takes a Scotsman I guess!!!!!!!

Three lovely images,Number 2 for me with the extra detail in the rocks.
Tom.
What a great result though for your trip. V2 has the edge for me.

Looked over all versions, prefer v2 with the light on the rock. Why is it that photographers like to use a shutter speed that gives the water that blurry/fantasia look? Is it a fashion in photography statement or does that just happen like that because of the settings of capturing everything else in detail?
Jules
Great series of shots, love V3 though for me it has the right composition and colouring.
Richard
All three are excellent, though I can appreciate the quandries... I do like a little more detail than is evident in V1, but perhaps V2 is a little too light for the emphasis you are going for? The square crop works well, but I like to see a little more of the bigger picture. If I have to pick just one, it would be V2, but it's close! (I wouldn't even know where to begin...)
It's rarely east getting the light in the correct place at the correct time, especially down in the hole here. Never tried it might never get back out again.
