Many thanks for all your comments on my last upload, and also to Digital_boi and Robbo B for their User awards, all very much appreciated.
The central hall of the Natural history museum an early visit before the crowds got up to this level.
A single exposure bracketed and the highlights areas blend back in.
Thanks for looking
Great POV...super tones.....love the way you take us down the steps and into the hall.............
Superb shot, excellent composition, unusual to see it so empty
Really like these tones Richard super shot
This is awesome. It feels like the stairs are leading you down into the picture, which they are in reality. It works really well and the detail in the brick work gives it a slight HDR effect.
Empty beauty, Richard. Just you and some bones ( Hope you visited Wildlife POTY )
Super image Richard,
I never thought you would see this place without people. Excellent exposure and detail in this one.
Thanks for the comments everyone, Ron shot in August so the Exhidition was not on then
Wonderful image. The detail & colour are very well produced. The image also gives the viewer as sense of the depth of the building.
Nice shot Rich & well processed.
Fabulous...go in there VERY early then
HDR? If so one of the very best images I have seen using this technique.
That is one brilliant wide view captured Richard
Great shot with stunning view and fantastiv composition, very well done,
Wonderful tones and detail throughout, Richard, and the pov from the top of the rail and stairs gives a superb perspective.
Amazing image, all the better with no-one visible. Beautiful tones and detail.
Stupendous Richard, a fantastic composition with a great POV. Stunning in all departments. One might think I like this shot ....I do but more than that I love it it's a work of art done by a very talented photographer
Oh wow what a superb shot - Elizabeth xx
Despite the decorated stonework this is really quite austere architecture, at least when viewed as a whole as you have achieved here. I wonder if you have thought of mono in this instance?
A truly first-class image.
The temple to Darwin...
I agree with Bill (I do sometimes... ), I'd like to see b&w.
Thanks for all your comments everyone very much appreciated. Moria/ Bill have not looked at a mono so will do.
A fine crisp architectural shot with very precise symmetry: well done, Richard.
Certainly worth getting up there before the crowds
Awesome photography and processing Richard, never seen this view with no people.
What a splendid capture of this building - wonderful tones and symmetry
Thanks to John and Helen for their UA very much appreciated.
Excellent symmetry and superb detail throughout.
Great symmetrical comp, very well set up and beautifully detailed with the bracketing. The lack of any life really makes the white statue stand out, even with it's central position it might not in a crowd. Great feeling of victorian splendour and yet a bygone era with the emptyness and the solitary statue. I like it a lot!
This is something you tend to excel at in my opinion, the lighting and detail is perfect superb photo, regards Leon.
Very nicely done Richard. My guess is that this was handheld. Or did they let you take a tripod in?
Wow - stunning detail and natural colours. Love the symmetrical composition. What an impressive space.
Well worked manipulation.....
Nicely worked image. Like the comp here.
Perfect exposure and stunning details captured here Richard
This is a masterpiece. The architecture in that building is quite beautiful...much nicer than the stark ugliness of the modern buildings.
Really awesome composition. Much atmosphere in this for me, kind of a scary but beautiful place........Sandy
Thanks to Wolfy and Joline for their UA very much appreciated.
Thanks again everyone for your comments too
An excellent image Richard, looks like a fantastic building.
A super symmetrical capture of this splendid building, Richard - unusual to see it so clear of people!
Fantastic image, up there with the best, superb.
The whole place to yourself? Top image.
Excellent work Richard, beautifully produced!
A fine image Richard, with a super view point.
wonderful symmetry to this which I like
never seen it look so good thats for sure
That made me sit up! Great tones
Fabulous light, sharpness. dof and perspective. Don
what an excellent POV and composition, one seems to levitate in to the image, drawn towards the far end!
How well this looks devoid of human prescence, Rich. Well worth getting there before the madding crowd. Your processing has certainly drawn out the tones beautifully.
Good control of exposure Richard. You did well to get it empty. Timing excellent!! paul
Many thanks for all your comments everyone very much appreciated
Excellent symmetry and detail. So well taken and processed!
Wonderful depth to this, great shot.
Excellent symmetry from the architect and well placed to show this Richard. Not a person in sight, you did so well here. I love the processing, I have never thought about getting it from this direction in the past
It was worth slipping those security guards a tenner each to keep out the riff raff. Richard it's a beautiful shot with great impact.
Thanks all your comments everyone
Glorious symmetry, detail and tones Richard.

Wow! Fantastic image. Nicely composed and perfect pov. Deep

You have been there too now... lovely place to be... like it there a lot.
...and whilst others (including myself have all stood on that spot) I never tire of looking at this scene. Surely one of the UK's greatest buildings?!!
Great Shot Richard, puts mine in the shade. What time of day did you do it ? It must have been been three exposures blended together.Fantastic quality.
WoW I would of said you most have used a TS lens to take this.
You've lined everything amazingly well.
A beautiful shot of a wonderful location.
