Popped down to The Bridge at Crossways, Dartford this morning. I was hoping for mist but instead was rewarded with no wind and perfect reflections, pretty rare on a major river.

I have only photographed the bridge previously at sunset but knew that when low light hits the structure it takes on a pretty impressive red glow. I had a tense time waiting for the sun and praying that the wind didnt pick up though.
A slack tide and no wind - perfect conditions and a great angle on this bridge, Derek. If only I could get up that early

Rare indeed, you got a perfect mirror like reflection though, it looks fabulous. I've spent the past week in Valencia cursing ripples

With the strong geomentry of the bridge and its reflection and the featureless, intense blue sky and water, I reckon that a mono conversion would be even better - if such a thing is possible!
