I think the light in this is quite beautifully rendered, however the tightness of the composition at the top, distracts from the overall effectiveness of the shot for me... Dave

Beautiful shot from a slightly different viewpoint to the usual: the warm tones and the light catching on the various facades has resulted in a very pleasing image. Very well done.

Thanks for your comments, yes I did take numerous shots while there was this lovely bit of light, but for this particular shot I just wanted a full frame of the castle and reflection, just something a bit different from the usual loch view, I will post another version in the future!

The sky wasnt that good actually, was pretty dark and colourless really the further left you went!

an absolute beauty, i love the light and tones given off by the late sun on this shot it looks magical well done.
