Another personal impression from an October visit.
1/8000th sec. @ f1.8, ISO 200.
Two super shots, I love the pov, for me it has to be V1, very well taken.
your best from there I've seen, using the lens to its strengths and choosing a simple and different POV
Colour version today
The mono really does it for me...good one.
Me too; love number 1.
Mono for me, it works really well. Instantly recognisable.
mono works well !
like the choice of focus...
B & W does the picture proud.
V1 all the way
Great as a background
Mono definitely, and a good alternative to the normal Angel shots.
v1 is a super image.....I love that impressionistic style, has a very spiritual cast.
mono--- a very inspired image!
When I saw the mono shot I thought "Wow", and then I saw the coloured version and now I really don't know which I like the best! Either way, this is a fantastic image, great composition, and excellent capture!
a wonderful capture - I like V1 - for me it has more mystery Katie
Great stuff Bill
fantastic work Bill, love the thought you have put into the composition and liking the mono
The the dof works super , and the mono the right choice, well done
very well composed....simple and very effective..like the bnw conversion
Love the pov, and the selective focus, and for me, this shines in mono Bill.
Interesting perspective Bill, fabulous POV and just enough of the Angel for us to know precisely where it is. helen x
very creative and the mono works best.
something about the mono here Bill, think I've got to go for V1.
Black & White for me.
I like the foreground intro to the "out of focus" Angel Bill, with he mono version being my favourite.
Mono for sure Bill. Super shot, love the shadowy Angel in the background forming a good frame for the foreground stems.
Love this one. The structure seems very sinister and imposing in contrast to the delicate, frail foreground plants (thistles?).
Great POV and use of depth of field here.V1 mono for me.
absolutely excellent! Love them both very much - a wonderful take on a well known landmark.
I like the grotty, grubby thistles Bill.Still prefer the colour version, for the non colour look. I am sure you will know what I mean !!
Mono version for me Bill, well seen.
Mono for me too, like the low POV on this Bill.
V1 Perfect and unique excellent work on this Bill
My pic of the week Bill, so it gets my gong.
