Our long weekend visit to the capital finally supplied an opportunity to get some new material, in large part thanks to a group of wonderful EPZ members who joined us on Saturday afternoon: a case of great minds thinking alike despite the freezing conditions . . .
However, I have only processed a single photograph so far, taken on Friday, and since this is a busy week it will have to suffice for the time being. This most unusual statue stands to the north of Southwark Cathedral; I do not know what it is supposed to represent so have made something up!

That seems very mediaeval and quite sinister. Well done. I like it.

The treatment sits the title Bill or the Title suits the treatment. A good angle which has been well thought out.

Well worked image Bill looks like sinister icon from this angle and the processing makes it more so

A statue of a Roman Guard, Bill, but there's no plaque to give further info. The 'church militant' theory works well, portraying it as a form of Luddite against the advancing Shard!!

Welcome back Bill...this sure works well good eye tells a story, only you could have captured this shot. excellent work.

Wonderfully sinister; beautifully composed and processed Bill. Makes you fear the inquisition is back!

Super pov Bill - I know not what it is either, although Dave seems to. The processing has brought out some menace.

The new is relentlessly encroaching upon the old.

It does look rather spooky and sinister, especially with mono toned processing...nice one, Bill! Smile

Definitely someone (or something) that will not be voting for a continuation of the old guard, Bill. This one wants change.
Darkly ominous and perhaps a glimpse of things to come, whether we welcome them or not...

Very glad you and Moira survived the trip to the soft south.Wink

Some parts of an anchor seem to be there. Just a shard of an idea?

wonderfully dramatic and moody image.
To get one image this good from any trip is tremendous, more is miraculous Bill.
