An interestingly different view. But if you are asking that question, I have to ask one too......since when have you been an angel?

Hi Bill, You have brought out some beautiful colours in this, for such a drab overcast day, you have done well!

Excellent detail shot here, making for a quite wonderfully abstract, yet, to those in the know, recognisable image.

Seriously, this is a very beautifully done abstract. Much better than the full figured images.

This is one of the best images of the angel I've seen Bill. Great perspective - just love it. I wonder what that blue thingy is? Just went back to show Christopher this and I was struck again by the beautiful rust and blue combination - fabulous!

It's never been satisfactorily explained why this angel should have grown aircraft wings when your basic traditional angel has more birdlike appendages....

Very good and a different perspective than the norm. Good detail. Mono would work as well and perhaps an even tighter crop to lose the sky.

Doing some catch-up, apologies for the lack of votes lately (full retirement just never seems to give you enough time in your day ....). Anyway, this is a great image, Bill. I love the lines, the colour, the tones, and I can but wholly endorse all the good things that have been said about it.

Your comments on my museum roof really had me chuckling. Kindred spirits.

Kind regards.

I have to agree with the many comments about this being one of the best shots of this statue, Bill. I also agree with the comment about the tighter crop, but am so impressed with this as it is that I have given it my UA.

Lovely humour again but I also like these detailed shots of the 'Angel of the North'. We normally don't see this in photographs.
