Part of a gable end on Silver Street in Durham. I like the shadow across the poster, it makes the face look slightly sinister.
The ancient wall has been repaired very badly, perhaps by a plastered plasterer
82mm, 1/500th sec. @ f9, ISO 200
Thanks for the big smile "plastered Plasterer"
Colour version for me today
A good bit of spotting Bill, I like the mix of old worn textures and colours with the young , ssmotth black and white face. As you say she looks mysterious too.
Well seen! Love the idea of being watched but also adore the textures, shapes and tones in the building itself, so it's got to be V1 for me.
Very well spotted and captured, great composition, nice bit of texture on the wall.
plastered plasterer -LOL
A good spot Bill, all sorts of elements in this, the twisted timber, the old brickwork and that face.Magical shot.
Very clever well done.
Not a bad face to be watching you Bill. I wouldn't mind it.She beats curtains any day but it's time she pulled herself together.
Good spot Bill - your final comment made me smile - Regards Richard.
The Face at the window, well spotted Bill, and what you've done to make a great image, fascinating split level scene with its abstract base supporting, clever imaginative work, Adrian
Good capture, well spotted.
Draw yourself together Bill, Danny's around. Nice face in the window, and the colour for me brings reality as the mono looks somehow as if it could be make beleave.
A plastered plasterer? Many think they can plaster but more can just get plastered.
Ace composition Bill. M
This is you best yet Bill I think, I would be proud of it.
like the lines in this Bill. oh yeah... plastered plasterer it sure looks like
LOL...I like the plastered plasterer
I reckon you're right! Well spotted and captured, Bill. Good point about the shadow too. Like someone sinister peeking through the blinds.
Wow!!!!! This one had me mesmerized. What a wonderful find!
I thought you'd Photoshopped the face in till I read the description
Do like the toning in the second one.
Well spotted and captured.
by the plastered
a scene to remember when looking to rent
a face in the window
instead of a drape
better choose a tent......
I like the plastered plasterer and the picture
Fascinating capture Bill, lean towards the mono
It has been my expierience Bill,to find plumbers get more plastered than plasterers. They must feel the need to get their own internal pipes full of liquid too !! An attractive face at the window.Perhaps the plastered plasterers poster, that he left behind !!
Well spotted Bill, interesting comp', and i'm sure She's looking at you
Great composition Bill.
