Thanks to all for the amazing response to yesterday's upload and especially to John lifesnapper, Barbara barbarahirst, Julie jujupops , Andy Hop-A-Long and Michaela Michaela_Solway for their User Awards which I shall long treasure.

Today's photo shows a famous scene on Romney Marsh. From a brief but unforgettable visit last month.

Beautifully crisp image Bill, right up to the last blade of grass on the left, plus the sweeping composition is just right and takes you all the way round to the old church.

Beautiful depth and gorgeous clear colour. This is good for the soul.
You get my award for today - I can feel the grasses around my feet and the air looks fresh and clean. Superb detail in the foreground grasses and right through to the sheep. I want to be in that picture.

A fine shot Bill, but you have committed a cardinal sin here though.

Beautifully composed Bill.
That sky couldn't have been more perfect. Excellent.
It is an image where I can almost hear the grasses rustling and feel the heat of the sun on my face, I am there until I open my eyes then I am back in the living room, oh well I will just have to settle for the cuppa sat next to me.Grin

A super composition and capture, Bill - the blades of grass on the left point towards the water, which in turn leads the eye nicely round to the church in the distance Wink

Classic composition, Bill, it's all been said above, and you've even managed to include an EPZer, I believe.

A superbly composed country scene, excellent light, cloud formations and rural tranquility. I like the curve of the river and the way it leads to the country church, and the sheep peacefully grazing add so much. I recognise this location from Moira's portfolio and the shot of you photographing a dragonfly on the riverbank whilst Sarah was photographing the church!Wink

A lovely shot Bill of St Thomas-a-Becket - by the way there is a stained glass window of this church in Appledore Church - a church within a church - I hope you are both well
