Two lovely shots, although I have to admit personally I find V1 much more appealing - it'd be interesting to see which of these is better received, and if anyone can come up with a good reason - perhaps one of them 'left-brain dominance in artistic creative types' things ?

Surely not two of you walking on water...
Good pic Bill with lovely lines intersecting the water.

A perfect use of the golden triangle. These are both excellent.

Beautiful lines and open space. V2 I think this time. I just prefer the lack of colour in the sky.

I went back to look at the lines dividing your canvas--it was the colors that attracted me at first--- like both!

I like V1 very much Bill the composition and lead in invites the eye into the image, for me V2 does not work as well but still a nice shot. - gary

Sublime - love the textures in the sand, the diagonal lines and the subtle colours.

The wooden posts really offer a good pattern image, Bill. Two well captured shots, if I had to choose, V1 I think, 'cos of that lovely sky.

V2 for the bleakness, but V1 certainly has a lot going for it.

Wanted to shortlist this Bill, but there isn't an option for it, not sure why sometimes the option isn't there? It's not too old after all.
V1 for me btw, but not by much.

I rarely give the pink diamond for series or versions, but this is the exception. These are wonderful , and both deserving of an award.
