Detail of a beach-hut door in Sheringham (I think).

A wonderfully detailed and well observed image Bill. The differing textures and tones adding to the appeal.

EDIT: V2 is Moira's suggestion for a simple crop.

great textures and the colour of the door works well against the rusty bits, like the bleeding too. #2 for me

Same, except the crop, I like V1 better, Bill. The extra space eases the eye.

Rather oddly its the strands of cobweb that draw me to this image, good work Bill.

Well its not just a "man thing" I like v1 better - I think the extra height helps balance the heavy metal SmileSmile
What attracts me especially though is the way the image is divided by that strong vertical line
Gets my UA today

Beautiful composition and textures Bill. I like the inclusion of the trimmings.
V2 is definitely my favourite.

Bit of subsidence there, Bill, my shed goes like that in summer but then raises back up in winter!!!

v2 for me, gives a strong corner to corner diagonal composition and keeps your attention focussed on the 'furniture'. v1 is not really negative space and allows your eyes to wander 'off-piste'.

How often does the simple work so well, it takes a good eye to capture this shot and Bill mate you have two good eyes . like the colours textures and detail.

I think v2 just edges it a bit for me Bill Smile Just a bit too much space on the top in v2 - a more equal spacing between the larger knob on top and the hinge (?) on the left works perfectly for me - I like that you left in the grotty spider webbing.

Well, I may live to regret this, but I am inclined to go for the other half's crop, Bill (The first three rounds are on me in York) Just seems tighter, more together, as a contrast to those doors.

Well spotted and taken, Bill, and I prefer V1. I like the space up there. I'm trying to picture what sort of latch connected those two latchless grogginses.
