Just wonderful! V1 is especially good (in my humble opinion) - such detail and those shadows are terrific!

Loose screws- it must be from the reality group !!! I speak from experience...........and I didn't say it must be Bill, please note.
Three excellent shots from the spiral gallery [now that would be interesting to compose] - v1 is my favourite

Morning Bill! When I saw V1 I thought it was excellent, but V2 and 3 are fanrastic! The compositions here are very interesting, an infinite variety I'm sure. V2 for me, just!
Must get into the reality gallery, and look up some spirals too!
Shortlisted!

I'm still going for V2, as I did in the reality? group - I just love the way the shadows look more real and identifiable than the screws themselves!

I recall V2 and 3 from the Group, but must have missed V1 Bill.
I like the inclusion of the brass one in the middle.A deliberate compositional ploy,or was it you just had no metal ones left in your tool box ?
Good shots.
Mick.

I'm torn between v1 and 3...
I still haven't found a really good spiral for the group....except a corkscrew, and everyone has those.

Adrian_Reynolds

Very you Bill, clever and quirky, well thought out compositions, really like these, off to find my toolbox Smile Adrian

Looks kinda screwy. All 3 very good Bill, but V1 is excellent. Like the brass one in the middle and you've arranged them according to a great plan. ...........Sandy

Brilliant, Bill! The shadows really make this work. Like all three, but think V1 has to be my fave.

V2 for me, Bill.
I really like that the shadow's source is unintelligible, hwereas everything becomes clear looking at its shadow.

I think I prefer V1, with the screws in focus, though I admit, it is the more obvious choice. Nicely shot.

Hi Bill, havent been on the site much recently, so this award is a little overdue!
I love these, especially V2 and V3 for their excellent shadows.
Imaginatively shot, and specially for the theme too!
Photo of the week for me!
