Sometimes it does one good just to sit and ponder, without reading, writing, watching telly, indulging in conversation, eating, drinking, working on the computer or even taking pictures. During one such peaceful interlude in our French friends' home, sitting in one of my favourite pondering chairs, I slowly – very slowly - became aware of a picture unfolding before me. Slowly – very slowly – I reached for the Lumix to record the occasion for posterity. It's an inaction picture, for which there is no dedicated category on ephotozine Wink

1/8th sec. @ f2.8, ISO 80

Moira's PC packed up last night so she might have to work from my laptop while I take it to the mender. I do have a copy of most of her image files so I expect she will find something to amuse you later.

You can almost feel the energy drain out of this one Bill. I always like to have clean shoes too.

This will slow Moira down some, hope it fixes easily.

Like the inaction in this one Bill - can also see why you choose that position as the image on the wall has some nice shapes.

I'm with Richard over what's on the wall in front of you Bill.
When I scrolled down to remove both images, it turned out to be a wonderful relaxing image.
The colours of that woodwork is awesome, so very rich in colour.
I like the shine on the shoes as well.

You've got it right there Bill.

I remember a favourite line from George Platt an old Gardener well into his 80's when Geof Hamilton asked him what he did in his old garden chair , and he said " Sometimes I sits and thinks and sometimes I just Sits" .

Good just to sit Bill occasionally. Love your well polished shoes . Can't bear scruffy shoes Smile
