Another image from Moustiers-les-Saintes-Maries, spotted across the gash in the precipice mentioned last time. I rather like the lines – they are mostly shadows, indicating the fine weather we enjoyed that day.

Version 1: 112mm, 1/800th sec. @ f10;
Version 2: 200mm, 1'500th sec. @ f10; ISO 200.

Cables and wires proliferate even more on the Continent than in our own criss crossed country. Makes a nice image though with the shadows as well.

As soon as I saw this I thought pictures with a picture then saw you had isolated the cage and its shadow which IMO makes the stronger of the two images. I also think isolating the green shutters would make a strong image. Very good observation here.

Super image, full of texture and colour and I do like the way the wires dissect the image.

Lovely pair of images. Delicious ...dare I say....rusty wall tones! I'm glad you've done V2, think it's my favourite.
Although I agree with Albert the shutters would have been good in isolation with a nice bit of wall too.

Brilliant shot Bill, with that beautiful composition and the wonderful colours and shadows. I think the colour of the door is essential, so V1 for me.

You have made a work of art out of a mundane subject. I agree with Ollie, a lot of folks would have passed this by. Fine work.
