Observed on the Newcastle to Amsterdam ferry.
I love the composition of this and the two shadows - very effective.
Love it !!!!!!!!
It's the shadows that makes this one.
I just looked at the thumb in the gallery & knew this was a Woolybill.
Nice observation, & something that I'm sure 99.9% of us would simply have walked past. The shadows make an interesting composition, which would have been rather flat without them.
Very clever well done.
This is superb,Bill.Full of character and very powerful.
I like this, I think they are male and female LOL
I love this! I'd never have seen this. The positioning of the shadows is just right, nicely separated, and the whole image is very well composed, too.
" Great title "
Great image as well
Well picked out, Bill, as mentioned, many of us would never have seen the opportunity, makes a fine abstract image,
Love the wacky in this Bill, great shadows as well.
Now where would you get a plastered wall on a ferry? I'm just trying to imagine where these taps would be. Lovely shot - just my sort of thing.
Wonderful seen shadow play.
Good afternoon Bill, Oh I love this, the simplicity of the composition and the textures. One like Moira's that IMHO would look great large on a wall, very well spotted and taken.
Funnily enough Bill,I was taking a couple of shots of my tap in the back garden last night. Not much cope however as I needed a strong shadow like your ones.
Two taps, four taps, great shot, love the shadows
Envious of this image!
Nicely composed, and great shodows Bill. Pitty you didn't turn one of them on slightly, just to get a bit drippy
This one reminds me of Wolfgang Tillmans. Making the banal beautiful. Nicely done.
Looks like two US helicopters flying over the Afgan desert! ... from the thumb!
Reminds of CCS and tap turns on the water
What - no pub sign- or maybe the taps have run dry already in your neck of the woods.
...................an image I would NOT have walked by either!!
If I may say, very much two taps. An amazingly different couple of ot so mundane objects.
a very well desrved RC
Great shadows.Well spotted.
Love pictures like this Bill , well done you tapped into this one
Two great shadows Bill . Very neatly Taptured xxx
Quote: Nicely composed, and great shodows Bill. Pity you didn't turn one of them on slightly, just to get a bit drippy
Well said - but I wonder just what would have happened if you HAD turned one of them on!
Good to see you tapping into your potential Bill, very well observed. The shadows make this one
excellent, love shadow pics. well seen and taken.
2+2=4 Very clever.
