The Brocken Spectre, a natural phenomenon, appears when a shadow is cast upon the upper surfaces of clouds opposite the sun, appearing many times its normal size. It is named after a peak in the Harz Mountains of Germany where it was first observed and recorded in 1780. In fact it may be observed in any mountain region.
- - - Actually this is mrswoolybill's collection of perfume bottles standing on the dresser, caught in the light of my reading lamp.

Respectful thanks to John alsoppdigitalart and Lynne LynneJoyce for placing their User Awards on yesterday's rusty upload Smile

Very clever image but please tell Mrs Woolybill that she should keep her perfume in a cool, dark place!

Wonderfully disorienting image Bill; it does look like a sky line! Lovely graininess too.

Older ladies may possibly recognise the left hand bottle as Jolie Madame, by Balmain. I have had that bottle since my 6th Form days in the 1960s, using it just occasionally, and it is still perfect!

Very nicely done Bill, and a lovely scent in the air while taking it no doubt.

There's something Orwellian about this, Bill. Being watched over by Big Brother.

On the other hand, I recognize a Chanel bottle and one from YSL...Smile
