On my first visit to the Sydney Royal Botanical Garden looking for some interesting birds, I caught sight of this ground bird running across the lawn between flower beds. I took a few shots anyway. At that time, I thought it must be a quite common around here. After a few more visits to the garden, I still have yet to find this little buff-baned rail again. Any suggestion on what could be a good time to see rails?
