Just been digging through some archives; completely forgot about this one I did; originally archived because I churned out a better one, but on reflection, I love the green filtered torch I used...
One exposure at 177 seconds, and possibly the first one I've photoshopped to reduce noise in the background, and that's it!
So excuse my dumbness, but how do you not end up in the picture??
He moved faster than light... LOL. Love this pic. Usually these light painting images are small stick figures. This is quite complex and shows quite a clever drawing technique as well. Very good indeed.
Now we want to see a series, like an animation of the dino walking over the bridge he he he

Photography is based on light; I neither omit light, nor do I stay still long enough to be exposed; at worst, you'll see the odd wisp of shoe or leg
very good, love it
You obviously have a fantastic sense of spacial awareness! Very cool!!
its how you remember whaere you start and finish thats so good as well,
are these done in one take ?

Yes, everything is done in one take I got the first attempt wrong but only because I literally forgot where I started!
I do them all the time, so it's like second nature to me now.
This is brilliant! I have experimented with painting with light myself in my porfolio, but I now definitely feel like a total amateur in the presence of this, compared to my efforts! 10 out of 10 for everything on this one. Superb!
well in that case , you are a master at judging the exposure lengths and completion !
Stunning image in both concept and execution.
dead clever so hard to remember where you started with these, but this knits up so well
Michael, I'm totally fascinated by your series of Light Aliens and Monsters. Gonna have to make the effort and attempt some myself in the future....any tips?
stunning image - i love the way the you have worked the perspective size to fit perfectly down the length of the bridge. would be difficult to judge the size on an open field but to fit it into something like this is amazing.
nothing wrong with using photoshop to clean this up a bit - i would have to entirely use photoshop to draw something like this
keep up the great work

Totally outstanding, Michael!
Don't know how I missed this one. Awesome work!
Wow, saw this type of thing b4.
This one is amazing, love it.
