High up in the Quiraing on Skye early one morning hoping to catch the dawn - just got wet instead. oops just seen a dust spot - this was done on my laptop which is pretty usless very very slow.

Love it. Viewed as a thumbnail the hills look like waves in a rough sea, which adds to an already strong image.

Wonder if they are rain drops rather than dust spots (grin)....great idea to switch over to mono, it can look bland when it's wet and grey up there. (I know that may sound mean but it does) Smashing picture. If I've got the right angle the car park is in the bottom right third of the picture?

Jeremy yes the car park is bottom right - been rather a wet week sadly - I've been chasing the light all over the island rather unsuccessfully hopefully I have a few poss images.

Chased the light around also week I was there .17 - 24 Aug . It is a beautiful place. Was there March2010 for a week in winter also .....Phil
