I like this, I like the fact that they are offering hugs but (especially the outside 2) look like they are offering to mug you. I'm not sure I can offer up any improvements as it works very well as is, the mono conversion adds to it, the composition is good and technically its spot on.

Much closer on the women and two right hand hoodies. Too much going on in the background and too distinct. Your recent shots where you got in much closer were rather better. This works as a scene setter, but looses impact as a stand alone, and I look at images as individuals.

I like this because it raises questions, sets my imagination to work. In particular I like the balance - one guy gets the lady's attention, the two wallflowers left and right are ignored. Look at the sullen resignation on their faces. So what was wrong with them that they didn't get hugged? There's a sense of totally absurd pathos here.

It's good that you got all the signs legible. I personally like the crowd bustle and business (ie busy-ness), it's very Edinburgh Fringe.

One of your better Fest shots, I like it and I'd like to see it in colour as an alternative.
