My entry into the hobbies comp, Dad fishing at night off a jetty on Coniston. I used remote flash to light his umbrella.
My friend, you are very lucky to be in a landscape like this. Well done with this shot. Very professional, love that umbrella lighting, how you do it, what's remote lighting?! excellent work my friend, well done

I took this shot at f3.5 iso800, remote flash is when you have two pocket wizards one on the top of the camera and one on the flash so you can fire the flash from a long way away. Thanks for the comment.
I can see this with a prize, brilliant image.
Well done Kai - like your angle/turn of the jetty, the red umbrella certainly makes this for me along with the hint of it's reflection. Wishing you all the best for the competition!

1st Place. kathersmith (£50 of photography vouchers courtesy of v8dunc) A wonderful image which really gets over the feel of one man totally absorbed in his hobby no idea that the light is failing, or that hes there on his own.
