MickyMc negotiated this roadside shoot with the lady's husband whilst I sat timidly in the car. They were making their way to the Appleby Horse Fair when we spotted them near the Cart's Bog pub near Haydon Bridge, and very obliging they were too.Enjoy !!

Good one Alan...far better let the lady do the negotiating as they are much better at it than us men.
I hope I can come back from Appleby with something as good as this and you know what I think I might let Keith Saint do the negotiating if he is there. Super image.

Gypsies sure look a lot like our "back to the earth" people. A most interesting image, and the manipulation makes it even more so. Good one!

I would like to think it is good old fashioned Irish coffee beans stewing in the big kettle Alan,in keeping with the romantic flavour of the image. But it is more likely to be Hubbies pants and socks getting a good clean in preperation for Appleby !!
Good shot.
Mick.

A great find and due to Mavis's communication skills, a great shot. I like the way you have processed this and the song title which I remember well.
