This picture was taken yesterday, in my spot, Queens Park in Brighton, at the end of the afternoon. I love the light you get at this time, one hour, one and a half hour before sunset. I wanted to do this for a long time, to get a bird half light, half shadow and I think this one is a good example and I was very lucky, that this little Blue Tit posed for me in a good position.
I really want to get shots of different species but in my spot I can only get Blue Tits, Great Tits, Dunnocks and Robins. I have to get a new spot but until then this place is very good for me to practice.

Nicely done... Brighton my playground till I was Eight..Watched the mods fight the rockers early sixtys and the Bedford hotel burn down .. fell off end of the pier and could not swim .. happy days
Wonderful scrawny blue tit. I love the way he seems to be hiding his wings.
