You can't get much cooler than rock n' roll and one man who probably knows this more than most is veteran photographer Kevin Westenberg, who has been snapping some of the most influential names in music for nearly 30 years.
From Bowie and Bjork to U2 and Keith Richards, Kevin has a rather astounding collection of photographs showcasing some of the biggest stars in rock n' roll history and he's putting his very personal collection of photographs up for auction. Some of the shots, which includes images of The Chemical Brothers and Brian Ferry are actually being revealed to the public for the first time.
One of the most striking images in the collection is of the late David Bowie on stage in New York, 1996. Bowie’s pose; knelt down but lunging forward, microphone to chest with an unmistakable intensity in his eyes is a fantastic example of Kevin’s bold, striking style.

Commenting on the photo. Kevin said: "I was told not to shoot him. but I did it anyway." When the opportunity came, Kevin ducked a security barrier and caught the iconic shot of the star man. "I couldn’t resist," he said.
Kevin's images are up for auction until 7pm on Saturday 3 December 2016 over on Catawiki, an auction house which previously sold a Leica which belonged to Alberto Korda (1928-2001), a photojournalist who fearlessly documented the Cuban revolutionaries Fidel Castro and Che Guevara in the 1960s, for over £15,000.
