2017 marks the eleventh edition of the popular Landscape Photographer of the Year competition and along with an exhibition, a coffee-table book that contains spectacular full-colour prints of the winning and commended entries can be purchased.
To celebrate the launch of the book, we've got ten rather amazing images to share with you that showcase some of the United Kingdom's most beautiful and dramatic scenery.
From saltmarshes, chalk cliffs and misty lochs to tumbledown villages, geometric farmland and jagged cityscapes, the photographers who entered this year's competition have captured the splendour of Britain’s rural, as well as urban, landscapes perfectly.
The Landscape Photographer of the Year 2017 exhibition runs from 20 November - 4 February at London Waterloo station and the book, Landscape Photographer of the Year: Collection 11 (published by AA Publishing), is available now for £25.
