24 Hours in Bristol is a unique photographic competition inviting up to 1,000 photographers from across the UK to visit Bristol on a single day this October to capture the essence of life in the city.
The competition is in association with The Royal Photographic Society, The Prince's Trust and Destination Bristol and photographers will have a 24 hour period from midnight on Friday 18 October 2013 to midnight Saturday 19 October 2013 to scour the city in search of winning photo opportunities.
There is over £8,000 of prizes and 100 winning images will be exhibited at the Guildhall Arts Centre in the heart of Bristol's old city from 9 November 2013.
On registration, 24 Hours in Bristol competition entrants will be randomly allocated a one-hour time slot during which they must take at least one entry photo. Photographers are also welcome to enter up to 5 additional images from any time during the 24 hour competition period.
The Guildhall Arts Centre will be open throughout the 24 hours of the competition as a base for photographers, with refreshments, WiFi, entertainment and photographic companies on-hand offering products, services and the loan of camera equipment for photographers who want to try out new product lines.
