This 250-Degree fisheye lens can see quite a bit of the World. In fact, it can see partially behind itself.

Entaniya Fisheye 250 MFT

There's a new fisheye lens under development that's compatible with Micro Four Thirds cameras and has a 250° view of the World.

The Entaniya Fisheye 250 MFT will come in three focal lengths: 2.3mm f/2.8, 3.0mm f/2.8 or 3.6mm f/4.0. All three lenses feature 18 elements in 12 groups and 4 extra-low dispersion glass.

As the new design is still under development, the specifications are 'subject to change' but Entaniya is hoping to release a product by the end of this year for 388,000 JPY which is around £3046.

The below image was captured with the Entaniya Fisheye 250 MFT 3.6 on an Olympus PEN-F.

In other fisheye news, we recently reviewed the Kelda 8mm f/3.5 and Samyang 12mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS.

Combined with the Olympus AIR A01 and mounted on a UAV, this would be an excellent surveillance system.

Just get a silver christmas bauble, dangle in front of lens, boom, roundy roundy photos, just add a layer mask for a border and clone yourself and your camera out, job done Smile
