Following the success of their universal L-Bracket Ellie, 3 Legged Thing welcome not one, not two, but three new alternative Ellie L-brackets for ultimate universal compatibility.

Ellie all variants

L-brackets are used to maintain the focal plane and a level horizon when switching from landscape to portrait on a tripod. In March 2019 3 Legged Thing’s new Universal L Bracket Ellie, was released. This new style of L-Bracket bought an abundance of functionality with its highly configurable two-axis adjustability, fitting perfectly to a whole host of cameras. 3 Legged Thing has now extended this versatility with the announcement of three new versions of Ellie and 4 BASE plates which can replace the original Ellie base, or be used as separate release plates. The new ELLIE and BASE products increase the compatibility with smaller cameras and debut the first L-bracket that’s fully compatible with Peak Design’s Capture Clip v3 system.

Introducing the new kids in town…

ELLIE PD – PEAK DESIGN CAPTURE COMPATIBLE L-BRACKET

The first Arca-Swiss compatible L-Bracket that is designed to work with Peak Design’s Capture Clip v3 system, Ellie PD allows the L-bracket to remain on the camera when inserted and locked into a Capture Clip. It features an 85mm base plate with a Capture-compatible footing.
