3 Legged Thing has expanded its tripod line-up with the introduction of an entry-level carbon tripod that's also a monopod.
| Tripods, Monopods and Other SupportsBritish tripod creator, 3 Legged Thing, has launched a brand-new entry-level carbon tripod to its extensive range of popular camera supports.
The 'Punks' branded "BILLY" tripod, which has 100% carbon legs and centre column, can also be used as a monopod and features the patented Tri-Mount plate along with ergonomic grips. Different shoes can be used on the tripod feet to allow shooting on a wide variety of terrain and the removable centre column allows those who use it to get low to the ground.
"It's been a few years since we had an entry-level carbon tripod in our catalogue, so we wanted to make sure we produced something relevant and exciting," commented 3 Legged Thing's Founder & CEO, Danny Lenihan. "As with all of our Punks-branded products, we really wanted to produce something more price-accessible whilst still offering some of our professional features. Not all photographers can afford to splash thousands of pounds on gear, and our Punks range was invented to enable those on a lower budget to get professional results without breaking the bank."
Billy will be joining 3 Legged Thing's other tripods in just over 2 weeks. Price TBC.
