Benefits Of The ColorEdge Series: ColorEdge

1. Faithful Colour Reproduction And Smooth Gradation

For faithful colour reproduction and smooth gradation, ColorEdge devices feature a specially developed application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) control chip.

In addition, gradation performance is tuned at the factory for all monitors shipped, keeping deviation between individual units low.

2. Special Calibration Software Bundle

ColorNavigator calibration software is provided with all ColorEdge monitors. This software makes very high-precision calibration easy. The program is also optimal for CMS, as it enables the preparation of accurate profiles.

3. Uniformity In Screen Colours

ColorEdge monitors feature technology that maintains uniformity in screen colours (not including the ColorEdge CG210-N, CG19 and CE models). At the factory, gradation and chromaticity are measured for each monitor shipped, and tuning is conducted to ensure uniformity of colours across the screen at all gradations.

In addition, EIZO applies their own technology to make adjustments for uniform display of colours at all gradations.

4. Broad Display Areas Using Widescreen Format

Using a widescreen-format LCD panel, many ColorEdge models offer a very broad on-screen work area, making it easier for the user to view software etc. on screen.
