If you use your smartphone to take photos and are looking for new ways to get a little more creative with your iphoneography, then the above video tutorial by Matthew Rycroft is perfect for you. It features simple hacks for the Hyperlapse & Boomerang apps as well as two other fun tricks on how to make UV light & a hologram with your smartphone.

The app hacks give you access to more options so you can increase the image resolution, change the frame rate and on the Boomerang app, capture longer videos. To make a UV light, you just need some tape and a couple of coloured pens and the hologram hack uses 4 pieces of clear plastic.
