Here are five features found on some EIZO monitors that help combat eye fatigue.
| General Photography
1. Auto Brightness Adjustment Function
A sensor on the front of the monitor detects the ambient brightness and as a result, the monitor's brightness is adjusted accordingly. This reduces the difference in brightness between the screen and documents you may be working with as well as lightening the burden on your eyes, caused by the brightness level of the screen.
If you adjust the brightness of the screen to your own preference, the monitor records both the screen's and the ambient brightness which it makes reference to the next time you adjust the brightness.
2. Brightness Adjustment Control
When using an LCD monitor, it is important that the brightness can be lowered without flickering and that the display remains stable. With EIZO LCD monitors, the backlight's duty controller ensures the display remains stable and accurate when the brightness level is lowered, without the need for an added filter.3.Colour Temperature Adjustment
By matching the tint of the screen to documents you may be using will lessen the amount of times your eyes have to make colour adaptions and for this reason, EIZO monitors can be easily adjusted to a colour temperature of 5000 K.4. Fine Contrast
This is a function that allows users to select preset modes such as 'Text' which adjusts the screen's brightness and colour temperature to match, as closely as possible, the brightness and tint of the paper on your desk.5. EyeCare Mode
This mode, available on select models, lowers the brightness to 4cd/m² or less and is suitable for environments with very dim lighting.
