Easter is just around the corner and that's why this week's COOPH video is all about photographing eggs in unique and creative ways that will definitely make you smile.

It's Easter this weekend and we're celebrating Easter on-site by sharing some top egg photography tips from our friends COOPH.
The first idea is to fake an egg with objects that you can use to create the form of an egg. The COOPH team use snow and an orange to recreate the look of a fried egg outdoors then inside, they use white paper, an orange coloured hat and a model to add a quirky twist to their abstract fried-egg theme.
If you don't mind getting messy then you can have a rather smashing time photograph an egg drop. The COOPH team dropped an egg onto a knife and used flash along with a really quick shutter speed to freeze the egg's motion as it breaks.
Tip number 3 involves a timer and cooking eggs to different points of hard-boiled-ness. You then line the eggs up in order on a board and capture your hunger-inducing shot. To eat your cooked eggs, you're going to need a fork which you can also use to capture another creative shot. In fact, it's something we've covered on-site previously: Getting Creative With Cutlery.
A snood light can add drama to a photo of eggs by increasing the contrast between light and dark while shooting multiple eggs from above with a high light will create a geometric shape-themed shot with great shadows.
The last egg-themed tip is all about using chicken eggs, chocolate eggs, decorative eggs and any other eggs you can find to capture a shot full of colour and variety. The COOPH team even make a golden egg that stands out from the crowd.
Enjoy Easter and if you do have a crack at any of the above ideas, we'd love to see your photos in our gallery.
