Photography is all about light, but you don't need a lot of it to take amazing photos as our friends COOPH are demonstrating in their latest video tutorial. 

From stunning cityscapes to side-lit and back-lit portraits, the COOPH team has plenty to offer in terms of advice and creative ideas. Plus, learn how you can have a bit of fun with some DIY-style long exposures of your friends. 

Best of all, this tutorial isn't about using a high-end camera; all you need to do is grab your smartphone and make the most of its settings.

The COOPH team use the Huawei P20 smartphone but you can take the advice and apply it to whatever smart device you might have in your pocket. 

So... dim the lights, get shooting and most importantly, have fun!
