If someone said to you: 'photography something that fits the theme time' would your first thoughts be a clock or perhaps an egg timer? Well, we have to admit our brains went there first, too, but the COOPH team are here to show you that there's a lot more time-themed photo ideas to get creative with.

From using mirrors to capture 'before and after' themes to freezing watches falling in mid-air, we guarantee there will be a technique you'll want to try. After all, there are 7 to choose from! One particular abstract idea we like is photographing an ice cream melting but, obviously, you'll need to do this somewhere you don't mind getting a bit messy.

Decaying fruit, candle smoke creating shapes in the air while the wax melts and a ball captured at various points through the frame then cleverly merged are also some of the top ideas the COOPH photographers share.
