As smartphones from a particular fruit-themed brand are still the topic of discussion for many, COOPH is jumping on the smartphone conversation with another top smartphone photography tutorial.

They are actually using the Huawei P10 but the tips aren't, generally, smartphone-specific so anyone can follow them so long as your smartphone has a decent camera built in (this is actually part of tip number one, along with switching to manual).

Other advice includes using a tripod when shooting long exposures (you can purchase adapters for holding smartphones), using high shutter speeds for capturing action, getting creative with sequences, playing around with depth of field, using angles and shooting time-lapses.

Watch the tutorial then if you capture some cracking shots with your smartphone, we'd love to see them in the gallery
