A Fantastic Capture Of A Redkite In Flight Has Won ePz's 'Photo Of The Week'

A superbly detailed shot of a Redkite soaring over Gigrign farm in Wales has deservedly won our 'Photo of the Week' (POTW) title.

We love the sharpness of this shot with every feather and beautiful detail on the bird of prey visible, framed nicely by a lovely out-of-focus background. The intent in its eyes and dynamic feeling of the shot bring interest with the photographer, Peter_West, hitting the shutter button at the right time to capture the action pose. It's a fabulous capture that makes you say 'wow' - well worthy of our POTW accolade.
