A beautiful image captured at a popular landscape photography location has won our last 'Photo of the Week' accolade of the year.

A landscape bursting with lovely light, contrasted with strong dark tones and a strong silhouette has been awarded 'Photo of the Week' (POTW) this week by the ePz team.
Captured by Nick_w, the image, which is titled 'Another Place', is of one of the many statues sculptured by Sir Antony Gormley found on Crosby Beach. As Nick points out himself, it's a location that many have photographed but this didn't stop this particular photograph standing out amongst the other landscapes in the gallery.
Its strong composition, beautiful light and bold statue silhouette grabbed our attention with a darker, outer vignette drawing the eye to the centre of the image where the statue and burst of sunset colours hold your gaze. It's almost otherworldly and your imagination can apply many connotations/meaning to the photo, too.
We think it's a beautiful shot that's full of atmosphere and well worthy of winning our final title of 'POTW' in 2020.
All of our POTW winners receive an EVO Plus 64GB MicroSDXC card with SD Adapter courtesy of Samsung. To be in with a chance of becoming our next POTW winner, simply upload an image to our gallery where you'll also find all of our past POTW winners.
