An unusual black and white portrait that's full of interesting shapes has been crowed our 'Photo of the Week'.

A brilliant black & white portrait that's full of intrigue and interest has won our 'Photo of the Week' (POTW) accolade this week on ePHOTOzine.
Simply titled 'Surf' the portrait, which has been captured by MediumSizeUnavailable, is (we think) of a girl/woman in a water zorb and thanks to the crop and conversion to black & white, it's created an abstract image that stands out in the ePz Gallery.
When colour is stripped away, shape, form and symmetry really stand out and we love the patterns the water dripping down the sides of the zorb has created which sit alongside the strong, straight lines of the zorb seams. The person inside the zorb almost looks like they're reaching through the water with their hand, almost like it's some sort of portal and the eye is cleverly lined-up inside a water drop.
It's a clever portrait that's definitely different and a well-worth POTW winner.
All of our POTW winners receive an EVO Plus 64GB MicroSDXC card with SD Adapter courtesy of Samsung. To be in with a chance of becoming our next POTW winner, simply upload an image to our gallery where you'll also find all of our past POTW winners.

Quote:Congratulations to not only Koen for creating such an imaginative and inspiring image, but also to the ePz team for choosing an image that it somewhat outside the box and definitely non-A4!
Thanks Malc. I fully agree... although I have no clue what non-A4 means
