Out of the Shadows

'Out of the Shadows' © PaulSwinney

'Out of the Shadows' by PaulSwinney has been chosen as our Photo of the Week (POTW) this week on ePHOTOzine.

With its creative mix of light and shadow, a London street takes on an abstract twist with shapes and lines creating an attention-grabbing, street-style photo.

The long shadow of the subject draws the eye up the image to the person who's framed by light while the lines surrounding him compliment the angle/direction. The use of monotone shades make the abstractness of this shot even stronger as the eye is able to really concentrate on shape/form rather than subject.

It's a great example of creative street photography that the whole team really like and it goes to show how a little observation can go a really long way!

Well done Paul - excellent capture.

POTW winners will receive a Samsung EVO Plus 64GB MicroSDXC card with SD Adapter.
