OM-D E-M1 Available Accessories

There are a wide range of accessories available for the OM-D E-M1 camera from Olympus' website. Here we round up the top 5 accessories we think will be most useful: 

Flash gun - The OM-D E-M1 doesn't have a built in flash, so it's worth investing in a flash that can be attached to the camera via the hotshoe. There are a range of flashes on offer from Olympus, ranging from the very small 'Compact Flash Wonder', through to a more powerful flash with LED light for movie shoots. 

Power battery holder - This battery clips on to the bottom of your E-M1, and can help to make the camera more balanced when using longer lenses. It is dust, splash and freeze proof, and will also give you more valuable battery power. It features an additional shutter button, as well as two control dials and two shooting buttons, making portrait work a lot easier. 

Remote Release - The RM-UC1 remote release cable allows you to take long exposure pictures without touching the camera and causing shake when you press the shutter. The release button is also lockable, for using the bulb mode. 

Camera Case/Bag - Olympus off a range of bespoke camera bags and cases, ranging from stylish and compact system bags to pouches and quilting cases for secure travel. A range of straps are also available, which is another must have for using your camera out and about to reduce your risk of accidentally dropping it. 

Underwater housing - If you'd like to have a go at underwater photography with your E-M1, Olympus has made a dedicated underwater housing for just that. It's waterproof up to 45m, gives you complete control of all camera functions, and features a wireless flash control. There are also other underwater accessories available, including macro adapters and flash holders.
