so $9.99 per month means 8.78 per month for us here in the UK ? hmmm Sad

why can't they just offer this to all and not add the bit about CS3 or higher owners only ?

Rip off Britain... $9.99 = 6.40

I already bought LR5, so nothing much for me here.

I'll be very upset if I don't get LR 5.2 as a free upgrade, I bought it two days before they announced it Sad

I am sure you will get all point upgrades to Lightroom 5.

Personally I have not rented Office 360 and I will not be renting any software. Just like renting versus buying your own house you don't end up owning anything, the money is just thrown away. Unfortunate if you can't buy but true.

If you are a professional no issues as its all tax deductible but for me as an ordinary enthusiast renting software is not attractive at any price, remember the cost of renting only goes one way!

My understanding is that this offer is only for existing Adobe customers. If you are new to Adobe products, you are not eligible for the deal.

CC is a good idea... Except for the non-perpetual licence. You stop paying the subs and you don't have an older copy of Photoshop, you won't be able to open your PSD files and you are dead in the water.

Ian, a lot of pros (including me) don't like the subscription model. On other forums I visit that pros frequent too, CC has generally got the thumbs down.

Until they change the licencing policy, I'll be sticking to CS6. Sad really as I've been an Adobe customer for over 15 years and bought every version of Photoshop during that period (plus a few versions of Dreamweaver and Acrobat).
